Hi, I’m Sherri, married to Jeff, and dog mom to Riley. I’ve been a social worker for over 30 years, and I’m currently in that time of life where I’m very much looking forward to retirement. It’s so close…  What to do in the next chapter? That’s what I’m figuring out. It involves writing, creating a line of greeting cards, joining my local quilting guild, and hopefully some travel. I am blessed to still have both parents, and will plan to spend more time with them. They are treasures.

As I look back over my life I see a twisted, winding road that often seems chaotic to me, but the longer I live, and the more I walk with God, I believe that road is the exact path I was meant to take. I want to do the second half of life better, and by that I mean I want to walk more closely with him, and be more patient in the waiting seasons because I have learned to trust him.

That is what this site is about and why I’m so glad you came. I’d love it if you would walk with me on this journey. We have so much to share together and teach one another. I want to be less uptight about things and more willing to stop and smell the roses. I want to find more humor in life and be able to laugh at myself more. I want to give more grace to myself so I can give it to others. Mostly, I want to be the best daughter of the King that I can be. So, if you want that, too, then straighten your crown and let’s get after it!
